Carol Carr

President and CEO, Achieve Human Services

Carol A. Carr is a member of the SourceAmerica Board of Directors.

Carr has been the President and CEO of ACHIEVE Human Services, Inc. for 15 years. Achieve Human Services is a local non-profit agency based in rural Arizona, which provides an entire array of services to individuals with the most significant disabilities.

 

 

These programs and services are inclusive of:

  • behavioral health case management,
  • low income housing,
  • vocational rehabilitation services,
  • independent living skill development,
  • employment training and career opportunity exploration for all populations served.

Carr has been recognized for her merger of the Excel Group, Inc. with the Yuma W.O.R.C. Center, Inc. and her industry experience that she brings to the table through her previous employment with Fortune 500 companies such as IBM and Xerox.

Carr previously served on the Arizona State Set-Aside Committee for over ten years. She was appointed to the Arizona State Rehabilitation Council where she serves on their Executive Committee and Chairs the Employment and Community Partnership Committee.

Carr is the Past Chair of the Arizona Association of Providers for People with Disabilities (AAPPD), which represents more than 100 organizations within the State of Arizona that provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the A-Team, which promotes self-advocacy of individuals with disabilities and education to family members.

Carr is the President of the National Council of SourceAmerica Employers (NCSE) that represents more than 600 agencies across the U.S. providing employment and employment services to people with significant disabilities.
